PRAYER FOR PEACE
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.
Prayer of Saint Francis

PRELUDE | How Great Thou Art|arr. Dino Kartsonakis

*CALL TO CONTINUING WORSHIP

One: Our hearts are unwavering, God.
Many: We will sing and make music—yes, with our whole being!
One: Wake up, harp and lyre!
Many: We will wake the dawn itself!
One: We will give thanks to you, LORD, among all the peoples;
Many: We will make music to you among the nations, because your faithful
love is higher than heaven; your faithfulness reaches the clouds.
One: Exalt yourself, God, higher than heaven!
Many: Let your glory be over all the earth!
All: Save us by your power and answer us so that the people you love might
be rescued.

*PRAYER OF CONFESSION
God of grace, who gives abundantly and desires that your gifts and kingdom be spread around; we admit that we want to keep the good news to ourselves. We cherish the thought of being a part of your community and kingdom, yet hesitate to invite others. We keep our stories of your love and bounty within these walls and grow silent as we have opportunities to share as we move through our daily routines. We may have our reasons for keeping your love a family secret and we have no excuse. Forgive us. May our willingness to share be a portion of our response to the forgiveness you so freely give.

*SILENT PRAYER OF CONFESSION

*DECLARATION OF FORGIVENESS
…Friends, believe the good news of the gospel:
In Jesus Christ we are forgiven. Thanks be to God!

*THE GLORIA
Glory to God, whose goodness shines on me,
and to the Son, whose grace has pardoned me,
and to the Spirit, whose love has set me free.
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be. Amen.
World without end, without end. Amen.

World without end, without end. Amen.
World without end, without end. Amen.
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be. Amen.

*PASSING OF THE PEACE
The peace of Christ is with you.
And also with you.

WE RESPOND TO GOD’S WORD

*HYMN 700| I'm Gonna Live So God Can Use Me| I'm Gonna Live

*AFFIRMATION OF FAITH The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

GREAT PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING
The Lord be with you.
And also with you.
Lift up your hearts.
We lift them up to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
It is right to give our thanks and praise.

THE LORD'S PRAYER
…Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

WORDS OF INSTITUTION |SHARING OF THE MEAL
(All who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord, regardless of age or denomination, are invited to partake in the Sacrament of Communion. Today we will serve Communion by intinction. Please come forward down the center aisle. Break off a piece of the bread and dip it into the cup and eat. Or you may take an individual cup from the tray and drink. We also have gluten free bread available. Return to your seat by the side aisle. If you are unable to come forward, please indicate this to the pastor and the sacrament will be brought to you.)

PRAYER AFTER COMMUNION
Indeed you have gathered us in, invited us to your table and fed us on that which satisfies our deepest longing for you. Help us to know that we are filled and strengthened so we may willingly and openly be your agents in our community and beyond. Amen.
